Your chance to name the cheetah cubs at Kuno

For the first time in 70 years, a quartet of cheetah cubs are moving around in the heart of India.

These cubs are the first to be form since the cheetah was declared extinct.

The  arrival of the cheetah cubs are a major breakthrough in India’s campaign to restore the cheetah population into the Indian forests.

The cheetah cubs were born to Siyaya and Freddie in the Kuno National Park of Madhya Pradesh on March 24.

Madhya Pradesh chief minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan had expressed his happiness following the arrival of the cubs.

The gender of the cubs is not known as yet, but officials say that they are healthy.

The government launched a competition to name the four cheetah cubs that were recently born.
