An annual report by the Economist says that Australian capital Vienna is the world’s most liveable city in the world
Vienna snatched the top slot from Auckland which went down to the 34th place due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions
Stability and good governance are the main reasons why Vienna took the top slot
Vienna is followed by the Danish capital Copenhagen and Switzerland's Zurich. Geneva came sixth, Frankfurt seventh
Caladary was in the joint third position followed by Vancouver in fifth place. Toronto was at eighth Japan’s Osaka and Australia’s Melbourne shared the tenth place
Damascus in Syria retained its place as the least liveable city on the planet
Russia’s capital Moscow’s rank fell by 15 places while St. Petersburg slipped by 13 places
