Gowrish Babu
On this occasion, let us look at steps to a healthy diet.
Eat a wide variety of healthy foods that help to protect you against chronic diseases.
At least once a week, have an all-veggie meal.
When hungry, opt for fruits, nuts or whole grain snacks instead of junk food.
Say good bye to white rice and start having brown rice which is higher in nutrients.
Cultivate the habit of reading the nutritious value of packaged food before buying it.
Choose saturated fat over unsaturated food. Cheese, butter, ice cream, high fat cuts of meat, coconut oil are are rich in saturated fat.
Last but not the least, start doing physical exercise at least 20 minutes a day.
