So, many social media users are curious to know when will the coveted blue check be back.
New Twitter chief Elon Musk has replied to a query, saying Twitter Blue will probably come back end of next week.
The blue check mark was previously reserved for verified accounts of politicians, famous personalities, journalists and other public figures.
But a subscription option, open to anyone prepared to pay, was rolled out earlier this week to help Twitter grow revenue.
But on Friday the new subscription option for the blue verification check mark had disappeared after fake accounts mushroomed.
The blue tick is available in UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and for select users in India.
