When Is Onam In 2023? Know All About Kerala's 10 Day Festival

Onam is a 10-day harvest festival in Kerala that celebrates the return of King Mahabali.

Onam is celebrated in the month of Chingam, which falls between August and September.

The first day of Onam is called Atham, and the most important day is Thiruvonam.

Thiruvonam marks the end of Onam celebrations and the beginning of the Malayalam year.

This year, Onam festivities will begin on August 20 and Thiruvonam will fall on August 31.

According to Drik Panchang, the Thiruvonam Nakshatram will begin on August 29 at 2:43 am and end at 11:50 pm.
