krishna murthy
WhatsApp has started testing a new 'Messages with yourself' feature.
The feature is currently available to iOS and Android WhatsApp beta users and will soon be launched for everyone with further updates.
The exact rollout timeline of this feature, however, remains unclear.
Currently, WhatsApp users cannot send messages to themselves. With ‘Message Yourself’ users will be able to locate their your own chat and send messages or media or documents.
The primary change you’ll notice is that in the chatbox, WhatsApp will now describe the caption as ‘Message Yourself’.
This feature is handy if you need to share any kind of notes with yourself or even important documents.
WhatsApp is also testing forwarding with a caption feature for Android.
