A new sidebar should soon be available on the platform for all WhatsApp desktop users. Yes you read it right!
WhatsApp is now rolling out a calls tab within the app sidebar to some beta testers on WhatsApp for Windows!
The new calls tab immediately shows up when you open WhatsApp but it may be needed to restart the app if you don’t see it at first.
You can see the list of your call history within the desktop app and information about the call by opening the call card.
Since its in beta version, the call history may not immediately be in sync with the one on your mobile device, in fact, calls placed from the desktop may not show up on your phone.
The application recently released a feature to enable users to forward media with captions on WhatsApp Desktop Beta.
