Things not to do after a meal

Sometimes we take our health for granted. Our lifestyle habits have to have a positive effect on our health
Sometimes we do not realise that our lifestyle habits have a long term side effect on our health
Do not jump into bed immediately after a meal. This will lead to indigestion. Walk around a bit before jumping into bed
Do not smoke after a meal. Smoking after a meal is equivalent to 10 cigarettes
Do not have a bath after a meal. The digestion slow down if you take a bath immediately after a meal. The blood around the stomach flows to different parts of the body during a shower instead of helping with your digestion
Avoid fruits after a meal. They take very long to digest. Eat fruits two to three hours before a meal
Don’t have tea after a meal. The leaves are acidic in nature and affects digestion
Drinking tea after a meal also interferes with the iron absorption making it difficult to digest food. Avoid tea one hour before and after meals
