A road trip from Delhi to Mumbai takes 25 to 30 hours
Once the Delhi-Mumbai expressway is completed, the travel time would be reduced to just 12 hours
Once complete the Delhi-Mumbai highway will begin at the DND flyover in Delhi
The highway would end at Virar and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust in Maharashtra
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari shared some stunning images of the highway

Construction of the expressway began in 2018 and is expected to be operational by 2023-24
The expressway will pass through Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Ahmedabad, Surat, and Vadodra
To complete the highway it would take 80 lakh tonnes of cement and 10 lakh tonnes of steel
The project would cost around 1,03,000 crore
