Switch to video on WhatsApp with a tap

WhatsApp is rolling out a new camera mode and is available for some beta testers!

Thanks to this feature, WhatsApp would have redesigned in-app camera with new icons and a photo/video mode.

After releasing the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.24.20 update, some beta testers can finally use the new camera mode!

With this new feature, users can quickly switch from photo mode to video mode and vice versa.

In the past versions of WhatsApp, one needed to tap and hold to record a video.

With this new feature, you do not need to hold for video but you can just switch to the video mode.

The new camera mode will be rolled out for new users over the coming days.
