Who does not like to have some chutney with a tangy flavour. You must try this spicy and yummy red chutney
Red chutney is usually a side-dish for dosas, idlis and pongal. Not just that it can be paired with most breakfast items
Making red-chutney is very easy and it also takes very less time to make
Read on to find out the recipe for red chutney
You will need tomato, onion, garlic, urad dal, mustard seeds, salt, red and green chillies and curry leaves
Chop 400 grams of tomato, 100 grams of onion, 1 green chilli, 2 red chilli’s and 2 cloves of garlic
Now add a teaspoon of salt to the chopped items. Grind into a paste
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan and roast the mustard seeds, 2 curry leaves and urad dal
Add the paste to the pan and saute for around 3 minutes. Add salt if needed
When you find it has become thick, turn off the flame. Enjoy! Your tasty red chutney is ready
