'Ponniyin Selvan' is the 2nd Tamil film to enter $5-million club in US

The film has achieved the feat on Friday after hitting the screens worldwide on September 30.

Rajinikanth's '2 point 0' was the first flick to reach the milestone.

'2 point 0' made a lifetime collection of $5,509,317 at the US box office.

Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' ($4,585,808), Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' ($2,858) and 'Petta' ($2,553,065) are also in the top five grossing films in the US.

Meanwhile, 'Ponniyin Selvan' has estimated to have grossed over Rs 300 crore at the worldwide box office.
