PM Modi in Karnataka

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Karnataka on May 25 where he inaugurated various projects.

PM Modi inaugurated the Shri Madhusudhan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Chikkaballapur.

The PM was vocal about political parties in politicising languages.

He alleged that they did not want students from villages and backward classes to become engineers or doctors.

Speaking on Kannada pride, he said that the language was a prosperous one, which increases the pride of the country.

PM Modi also inaugurated the 13.71 kilometres stretch of the Bengaluru Metro Phase II project.

In a tweet, the PM said, ‘on board the Bengaluru Metro, interacting with people from different walks of life.’

The new line of the Bengaluru Metro will be beneficial to six lakh Bengalurians.
