Mute someone on Twitter without blocking them

When you are in such a dilemma, Twitter's 'Mute' feature can come in really handy.

If you mute someone, that person will not know that you have muted them.

After you mute someone, their tweet would no longer be visible on your timeline.

You can mute someone on Twitter in two ways- either from a tweet or from a profile.

If you want to mute from the profile, go to their profile page, click on the three dots icon and select mute from the options list.

If you want to mute from a tweet, click on the three dots icon and click mute.

You can also unmute the account at your convenience that also without knowing them.

Simply go to muted account profile on Twitter and click the three dots icon and tap 'unmute'.
