Easy snacks to make during Navratri
Navratri is always fun and it refers to the nine auspicious nine nights when Goddess Durga is worshipped
Here are recipes for five snacks which will keep your taste buds alive while fasting
Take soaked sabudana in a large bowl and add boiled and grated potato with crushed peanuts, ginger paste, cumin powder and rock salt. Mix well
Prepare small flat patties, shallow fry until golden brown. Enjoy your Sabudana Tikki
To make a sweet potato chaat take some boiled and peeled sweet potatoes in a bowl and cut them into small pieces
Add some black pepper, rock salt, powder and lemon juice to it. Mix well and serve
For Banana Kofta you will need some unripe bananas. Boil them and later mash them into a bowl and add ginger paste, cumin powder, rock salt and black pepper powder
Shape into flat patties and shallow fry. Have a blast with those hot koftas
To make Palak ke Pakode, take some spinach leaves in a large bowl. Add kuttu ka atta, green chillies, roasted peanuts, rock salt and cumin powder to it. Then mix it well
Add water bit by bit and make a paste.Heat the oil in a pan and add a teaspoon of the mixture to it and deep fry until it is golden brown
Now who doesn’t like finger chips. Slice potatoes into thin sticks and refrigerate them for around 20 to 30 minutes to make them crispy. Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the chips for a delicious crunchy snack
