To apply for a passport, you will need some documents to be shown as your proof of address and proof of age
For proof of address you can submit a photo Passbook of running bank account in any public sector bank, private sector bank and regional rural banks or water bull or election photo ID card
The landline or ostpaid mobile bill, proof of gas connection,spouse’s passport copy, certificate from employer of reputed companies on letter head or Income Tax assessment order also can be submitted for proof of address
An Aadhaar Card, rent agreement or electricity bill also act as proof of address
The school leaving certificate, secondary school leaving certificate or birth certificate issued by Registrar of Births act as age proof documents
Policy bonds issuers by LICs which show the date of birth of the holder, a driving licence also act as age proof documents
PAN Card, Election Photo Identity car of Aadhar or e-Aadhar can also be submitted for age proof
