Karnataka Kashi Yatra scheme: All you need to know

Rs 7 crores have been sanctioned for the scheme under the accounts head of ‘Assistance to Manasa Sarovara Pilgrims’.

Eligibility to apply for the scheme:

Those willing to avail themselves of the benefit should be the native of Karnataka

The applicants should be above 18 years old and have to furnish their age proof

Any pilgrim taking up the government-sponsored ‘Kashi Yatra’ would get the benefit only once in a lifetime

Documents required:

Proof of beneficiaries' domicile of origin in Karnataka - voter ID, Aadhaar card, or ration card

Applicants must furnish age proof - Aadhaar card, voter ID etc
