Human food items you should never feed your dogs

How often have you looked at your dog's innocent (read greedy) eyes and thrown a piece of chicken towards them?
Well, we are all guilty. But do you know there are some food from our plate that can be toxic for them? Read on to know what to never feed your dogs.
Drinks and food products containing alcohol should be absolutely avoided as it may lead to ethanol poisoning in dogs.
Chocolate, Coffee and Caffeine contain methyl xanthines which cause vomiting and diarrhea, excessive thirst and urination, abnormal heart rhythm, seizures and even death.
Avoid feeding coconut and coconut-based foods as it may cause stomach upset, loose stools or diarrhea.
Grapes and Raisins can cause kidney failures. So, avoid feeding this to your pet.
Many dogs are lactose intolerant, which means they have difficulty digesting milk.
Nuts, onions, garlic, chives, salt and snack foods are also not good for your dog's health.
