Google Fit uses sensors on your device to collect data about your physical activity, like distance and steps, even when the app is closed.
You can find that data in your daily and weekly activity stats or your journal.
So, how to set up Google Fit app in your phone?
Download the Google Fit app for Android or iOS.
Sign in to your Google account.
Set your daily activity goals by tapping Next in the pop-up window. Tap to choose the option that best suits your lifestyle. Tap Set goals to confirm your choice.
