How to sit when you work from home

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many to work from home.
While working from home, not many have a proper desk and chair set up like how they have in office
As a result of this, they end up sitting on their bed and working. Here are a couple of tips you should follow when you work from home
Avoid sitting on the bed and working. It strains your lower back. It would be a good idea to invest in a bed table
While sitting on a chair do not cross your leg. The you do that the C formation ruins your posture and leads to a back pain
Pull your chair into the table. This helps you be more upright resulting in better body posture
Place a small cushion behind your back. This will help maintain better posture

Using a laptop stand is a good option. If you do not have one then place two books below your laptop. This will help your eyes at an angle
Do not let your feet hang in the air. Doing so will give you cramps. Your thighs and lower leg should form a 90 degree angle

Do not sit long hours. Take a break frequently
