How to re-apply for PAN Card, offline

The PAN or Permanent Account Number is an important document for financial transactions.

The PAN contains a 10-digit alphanumerical number.

If you lose your PAN Card, you should file an FIR with the local police station to avoid it from being fraudulently used.

If you lose your PAN Card, don’t worry. Re-applying for it is easy.

Download the ‘Request for new PAN Card or/and changes or correction in PAN data form. Print the application.

Fill out the form in BLOCK letters. Fill out all the necessary information that has been sought for.

Applicants should attach two passport-sized photographs with a cross-signed.

The form will be sent to NSDL along with payment, proof of identity, address proof and proof of PAN.

Following this a printed acknowledgement form is generated and the same can be used to track the status of the PAN Card.

After the department receives your application, the duplicate PAN Card will be issued within two-weeks.
