How to change phone number on Aadhaar

Did you know that you can change your phone number on Aadhaar

Do remember, the change of phone number cannot be done online

To change your phone number on Aadhaar you will have to visit the Aadhaar centre and fill up the Aadhaar Update/Correction form

Once you do so recheck and submit the form to the executive

For this service the centre will charge you a minimal fee of Rs 50

You will get an acknowledgement slip which will have the Update Request Number

You can use this number to check the status of your application

Your new mobile number will be updated in the UIDAI database within 90 days

On the online portal, UIDAI only allows you to update the address, for which you will have to submit a valid address proof
