How EPFO member can change EPF/EPS nomination online

An announcement in this regard was recently made by the Provident Fund Regulator Body

EPFO subscribers can now change their PF nominee online by logging into the EPFO website, epfindia.gov.in

The new nomination will override the old one and the latest EPF/EPS nomination will be considered as the final one

Thanks to this a member does not have to visit the nearest EPFO office. However there are some documents needed to change the nomination online

For an EPFO member, Aadhaar linked activated UAN, Aadhaar linked mobile number and updated EPFO member profile with address and photograph

For nominee a scanned photograph, Aadhaar card, bank account number, IFSC code and recent address with proof is needed

To change nominee log into epfindia.gov.in and go to service option and select for employees

Click on the Member UAN/Online Service and login with UAN and password. Provide details tab will appear on your monitor, click on the save option

Click on yes to update your family declaration, click on Add Family Details and declare the nominee’s share.

Click e-sign to generate OTP and then submit the same received on your Aadhaar linked mobile phone
