Heatwave Effect: States that Have Announced Early Summer Vacation

Many states in India have announced early summer vacation due to severe heat wave. Here is the list:
Uttar Pradesh: The UP schools will remain closed from May 21 and June 30 this year. This turns out to be a bumper holiday for students as they get 51 days off.
Maharashtra: The classes for 1-9 and 11 in Maharashtra will remain closed between May 2 and June 12. In Vidarba, schools will reopen on June 27.

Chhattisgarh: The summer holidays have already started for students from April 24 in Chhattisgarh and it will end on June 14.

Bhopal: In view of heatwave, many schools have decided to begin the summer vaccation from April 29.
West Bengal: Schools in West Bengal have been asked to start the summer vacation from May 2.
Odisha: The schools in Odisha are already closed due to heatwave till April 30. This year, the summer vaccation has been brought down to 35 days.
Andhra Pradesh: The summer holidays for Andrha schools are scheduled from May 6 to July 4 in 2022.
