Food items to avoid while travelling

There are certain foods that you can avoid eating before and while you are travelling and yet feel much healthier and peaceful.
Usually, people prefer having light food as it is easily digested and also requires less time in preparation.
Try and avoid fried foods as they can be convenient for you before travelling. It affects the digestion process, and can make you feel uneasy throughout the trip.
Avoid non-vegetarian foods like fish, chicken and red meat as it takes longer time to digest. Whether you are travelling by road, air, rail or sea, non-veg in your diet must be strictly avoided.
Milk and diary products have the ability to make you feel sick throughout the journey. So, you must avoid when travelling, especially when you are travelling in a car.
You might think that having a full tummy and travelling would be a nice idea. But you have got that wrong! Make sure you eat healthy and light before you travel.
Try and avoid drinking tap water, especially in places that do not have proper hygiene. If possible, get a bottle of water, boil and then drink.
