Let us see what the Z and Z+ category protections really mean and who get these.
Z level security is India's third-highest degree of security.
Z level security has 22-member security personnel, including 4-5 NSG commandos and police personnel.
The security is provided by Delhi Police, the Indo-Tibetan Police (ITBP), and the CRPF.
Z-security can be granted to private individual after the threat assessment by intelligence agencies. The private individual pays for the security cover.
Then comes the second-highest level of security protection -- Z+ category.
Z+ category security coverage comprises a 55-personnel including 10+ NSG commandos and police officers.
Commando is an expert in martial arts and also has unarmed combat training.
This security is provided by the NSG commandos having sophisticated guns, and modern communication gadgets.
