'Avatar 2' fails to shatter 1st day box office collection of KGF 2

The early estimates coming from trade trackers claim that the movie has minted nearly Rs 50 crore on day 1 in India.

While the response in South India was outstanding, it was good in North India.

The major contribution has come from South where the movie has estimated to have collected around Rs 30+ crore.

However, it failed to beat the day one figures of Rocking Star Yash's 'KGF: Chapter 2', which had earned Rs 134 crore on day 1 in India.

Also, it could not surpass the opening-day business of 'Avengers: End Game' which had approximately collected around Rs 65 crore.
