April 16: Pink Moon
April's Pink Moon is named after phlox, the pink flowers that bloom in spring. Other names for this Full Moon are Sprouting Grass Moon, Fish Moon, Hare Moon, Egg Moon, and Paschal Moon.

April 22, 23 - Lyrids Meteor Shower
The Lyrids is a meteor shower, with usually about 20 meteors per hour at its peak. The shower runs annually from April 16-25. It peaks this year on the night of the night of the 22nd and morning of the 23rd.
April 28 – Mercury at its Evening Peak
This might be a good time to try and spot Mercury. Since Mercury is so close to the sun, we can only observe it when it reaches its “highest”. This occurs cyclically as part of Mercury’s 88-day orbit.
April 30: Partial Solar Eclipse
Regions seeing, at least, a partial eclipse: South/West South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Antarctica.
