All about Ganga Vilas, the world’s longest river cruise

Ganga Vilas Cruise will cover a total distance of 3,200 kms. This will be the longest voyage in the world by a cruise.
The vessel will complete the journey in 50 days.
The cruise, after leaving Varanasi, will pass through cities like Ghazipur, Buxar and Patna before reaching Kolkata.
Ganga Vilas Cruise will pass through the rivers of India and Bangladesh to reach Dibrugarh in Assam.
On the way, the cruise will stop at more than 50 places, including World Heritage Sites.
In 50 days, the cruise will travel along 27 river systems in India, including the Ganga-Bhagirathi-Hooghly, Brahmaputra, and West Coast Canal.
The vessel will also pass through world heritage sites, national parks and sanctuaries, including Sundarban Delta and Kaziranga National Park.
The cruise will have a capacity of 80 passengers with 18 suits.
Ganga Vilas Cruise, which departed from the coast of Kolkata on December 22 with 32 Swiss visitors on board, will arrive in Varanasi on January 6.
