7 Pakistan terrorists designated by MHA in 7 days
MHA designates 7 Pakistan terrorists
Over the past fortnight the Ministry of External Affairs designated 7 Pakistani terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act
Among the seven to be designated was hafiz Talha Saeed, the son of Lashkar-e-Tayiba chief Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the Mumbai 26/11 attacks
Along with Saeed the others who were designated are Sajjad Gul, Ashiq Ahmed Nengroo, Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar, Arjumand Gulzar Jan, Ali Kashif Jan, Mohiuddin and Aurangzeb Alamgir
The MHA listed these terrorists based on the recommendations of the CID, Jammu and Kashmir
The move is a crucial one as it would help India raise the issue with the United Nations and other countries.
Officials tell OneIndia that this would also increase the heat on Pakistan which is already under pressure from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
The FATF meets in June this year.
