5G commercially launched in India

On Saturday Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially launched 5G services in India at the India Mobile Congress
Airtel has begun the roll out in 8 cities which include, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Varanasi
You must note that the 5G services provided by Airtel will only be available in some parts of these areas
Airtel’s 5G will be fully available across India by March 2024
Reliance on the other hand has promised to provide 5G plans at the lowest rates when compared to any telecom in the world
Airtel and Vodafone have not revealed anything on the 5G tariffs
Reliance announced that 5G will be available to everyone by December 2023
Vodafone is however yet to announce when it would roll out 5G
With 5G, efficiency, spectrum, and network efficiency will be enhanced
Do note that you will need a 5G enabled phone to experience the service
