10 Prominent leaders who quit Congress

Ripun Bora: Former Assam Congress President Ripun Bora quit Congress to join TMC becoming the latest leader to leave the grand old party in Assam.
Ashwani Kumar: Former Union minister Ashwani Kumar ended his 46-year-long association with the party which “had lost touch with the ground reality and no longer reflected the national mood”.
Aditi Singh: Aditi, daughter of the late Akhilesh Singh, a former five-term MLA from Raebareli Sadar quit the Congress ahead of UP polls.
Luizinho Falerio: Former Goa chief minister and MLA Luizinho Faleiro resigned from the Congress party, saying "I see absolutely no hope or even the will to prevent the collapse of the party”.
Jitin Prasada: Jitin Prasada, a former Union minister and prominent member of the Congress’ young brigade that is headed by Rahul Gandhi quit the Congress to join BJP.
RPN Singh: Veteran Congress leader RPN Singh quit the Congress to join the BJP. He is the second prominent Congress leader in UP to join the BJP after Jitin Prasada, who was made a Minister in Yogi Adityanath government.
Jyotiraditya Scindia: Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Uttar Pradesh in-charge of the Congress along with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in the 2019 Lok Sabha election quit, saying can’t serve people by being in the party.
PC Chacko: Senior Congress leader P.C. Chacko quit the party ahead of the Kerala Assembly elections, blaming factionalism in the party’s State unit and lack of “proper” leadership at the national level.
Captain Amarinder Singh: Former Punjab Chief Minster and Congress leader Captain Amarinder Singh quit the party on the pretext that he was hurt by conduct of party president Sonia Gandhi and her children — Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra Gandhi.
Sushmita Dev: Sushmita Dev, one of the Congress’s most prominent Assam faces quit the party, she was said to be unhappy over some of the decisions taken by the leadership in Assam.
