Yogi Adityanath to fight election from Ayodhya
Yogi Adityanath has become CM, but to retain the CM post he has to contest assembly election within 6 months. According to sources he may contest eletion from Ayodhya. Let me tell you at present, he is an MP from Gorakhpur. Though there is no confirmation on this yet, However, it is said that if Yogi fight the election from Ayodhya it can make an atmosphere in favor of the BJP for the 2019 Loksabha elections.Anyway, the final decision is to be taken by the Chief Minister himself. Seeing the possibility of contesting from Ayodhya, people around here seem to be exited. Yogi government ordered authorities to restart the show Ramlila which was stopped for several years. The chief minister has also set a deadline of June 2018 for completion of the Rs 14.77 crore bhajan sandhya venue in Ayodhya . With the continuous implementation of the schemes, it seems like Ayodhya is one of the priorities of the government. Apart from Yogi and Deputi chief Minister Keshav prasad Maurya to is required to be elected within six months of their appointment, which will be due in September this year while the presidential polls are scheduled for July. "They will have to be elected from either House in the state within six months and they will have to resign from LS or RS within 14 days of their election. Yogi and Maurya have both the option of contesting a bypoll from an assembly constituency as well as for the legislative council.
