West Bengal : Bihar Examination candidates go berserk, damage Railway Station
As many as 10,000 candidates from Bihar appearing for Group D Government examination went berserk and damaged Railway property of Jalpaiguri Railway Station in West Bengal. The students pelted stones at train coaches thereby injuring a few passengers. They also broke railway properties, burnt tyres and blocked railway tracks demanding that a special train be run for them. After a long wait, the angry examinees turned violent when they wanted to return to their destination but no such arrangements were made at the railway station. They not only blocked Abadh-Assam express train but vandalised it too.
