Parrikar to take oath as per schedule

Supreme Court heard a petition filed by Congress against Bhartiya Janta Party forming a Government in Goa. The Supreme Court today ordered that a floor test be held 11 am on March 16, refusing to stay the swearing-in ceremony of Manohar Parrikar.The Governor had earlier given Parrikar 15 days to prove his majority on the floor of the house. He now has 48 hours to prove it. No order has been issued by SC over Parrikar's oath taking as Goa CM. The ceremony will take place as scheduled at 5 pm.
