To protest against potholes in Mumbai, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers dug up road in front of Mantralaya to show their anger. Furious workers shouted slogans against the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Armed with tools, the workers began breaking the sidewalk adjacent to Mantralaya. More than five persons lost their lives in and around Mumbai due to the potholes this monsoon season. Earlier, Congress workers protested against BMC regarding the increasing number of potholes in Mumbai. They filled potholes as part of its campaign, ‘Aao Potholes Giney’. Every year, Mumbai deals with pothole-ridden roads and water-logging issues.
