Kejriwal’s demand for ballot voting in MCD polls turned down by LG
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's proposal for using paper ballot during municipal corporations elections on April 22 has been turned down by Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal. He said that polling was not feasible due to the time constraint. Baijal has replied to the plea of Kejriwal, who after getting defeat in assembly polls in Punjab, asked him to replace EVMs with paper ballot in MCD elections . The Delhi Chief Minister pitched for ballot papers after he alleged that EVMs can be tampered with.
