Mahendra Singh Dhoni is facing criticism after India’s 40-run defeat at the hand of New Zealand in the second T20I match at Rajkot. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has defended MS Dhoni by giving a fitting reply to critics. He said,"If you look at his record, nobody (team management) is really bothered. Whatever he has done, he has been doing well, he knows he is a legend. Whatever he is doing, it is benefitting the Indian team. No one has any doubts about him. Riding on a century opening stand by Colin Munro and Martin Guptill and a blistering ton from the former, the Kiwis amassed a challenging total of 196 runs for the hosts. The formidable Indian batting line-up failed to stand up and carry on the battle against the Kiwi attack as the tourists snatched a comprehensive 40-run win to level the three-match series 1-1. Kohli had notched up his 18th half century while Dhoni scored 49, but overall team effort remained way too low to even near the target of 197. The third T20I match against the Blackcaps will be played on Tuesday, at Trivandrum.
