India vs Australia 3rd Test: Day 2 highlights, KL Rahul misses century

Skipper Virat Kohli must be happy with India's strong and steady start of their first innings of the ongoing Ranchi Test. At the end of the day's play India are at 120 runs at the loss of 1 wicket. Lokesh Rahul was caught behind on the slower bouncer by Pat cummins. He made a steady 67. At stumps Murali Vijay at 42 and Cheteshwar Pujara at 10 runs are at the crease. Our highlights would be incomplete without the mention of Ravindra Jadeja, who could be seen everywhere on the field. Jadeja finished his 5 wicket haul for the 8th time in his career. He pulled of a brilliant blind run out of Josh Hazlewood and reminded us of MS Dhoni. He was simply magical on the field today. Umesh Yadav clinched 3 wickets and Ashwin sent one batsman back to the pavilion. Australia were all out for 451 in their first innings in post lunch session. India kept Australia down to 450 when 500 looked possible. Steve smith was not out at 173 and Glenn Maxwell hit his career's maiden century.
