India declares 1st innings at 622 runs, Ashwin, Saha and Jadeja hit 50s

India skipper Virat Kohli declared the first innings at 622/9 after grinding Sri Lankan bowlers on the second day of the second Test. The visitors posted yet another mammoth total against hosts as almost every Indian batsman opened their hands in front of a listless bowling. Ravindra Jadeja, Wriddhiman Saha and Ravichandran Ashwin were three batsmen who scored half-centuries after overnight batting pair of Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane couldn't do much damage on the second day.
