Himachal students set world in flying paper planes : Watch video

Himachal students have set the world record by flying 7,730 paper planes in 1 minute as part of a campaign against drug abuse in Moginand of Sirmaur district, Himachal Pradesh. 80 students of the Scout and Guide Unite of the school flew 7,730 paper planes in one minute duration with messages against drug menace written over them. The organisers claimed that the event under a drive against drugs began on November 14th and concluded on February 14th. The golden book award record from United States covered the event live. The schools's name was registered against the previous record earlier held by New Zealand's Maria International School, in which 87 students had set a record of flying 3,622 paper planes.
