Farmers across India go on 10 day strike demanding loan waiver
Farmers across the country are all set to go for a 10-day protest starting from Thursday. Demanding loan waiver and implementation of Swaminathan commission, the farmers have called this movement as ‘Gaon Bandh’. On May 31, farmers in different cities of Maharashtra spilled litres of milk on the road. While in Punjab, the farmers took over the streets and threw kilos of vegetables away on the road to voice their protest. The common men will again feel the pain as the vegetable and milk supply will affect during the protest.
