Congress leader Shehzad Poonawalla slams party of practicing dynasty politics
Congress party is facing flank from its own quarters after announcing the elevation of party Vice President Rahul Gandhi to the post of President soon after the results for the elections in Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh are announced. Congress leader Shehzad Poonawalla has slammed his party of practicing dynasty politics and said that the elections for the President's post of the party are nothing but a sham process. When asked why did he come up with the issue ahead of the Gujarat Elections where Congress is expecting a better fortune, Shehzad said, "Elections happen in this country every year and there is no wrong time to do the right thing. I am still hopeful and praying for my party to win the Gujarat Elections but I also want dynastic politics to end,".
