BCCI, CA reslove DRS controversy, India take back complaint
BCCI, CA have resloved the DRS controversy and India have taken back the complaint against Steve Smith. The BCCI and Cricket Australia have issued a joint statement stating that DRS issue had been resolved and they will focus on cricket with 2 more Tests to be played in Ranchi and Dharamsala. BCCI has also decided to withdraw the complaint against Steve Smith and Peter Handscomb. CEO of BCCI Rahul Johri and CEO of Cricket Australia James Sutherland met at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai to discuss the matrter in detail. In Bengaluru Test, Smith tried to cheat by looking towards the dressing room for signals to use DRS after he was given out LBW to Umesh Yadav. Though India won the Test to level the 4-match rubber 1-1. Later, BCCI decided to lodge an official complaint with the ICC. But now, a meeting between the CEOs of both boards has put a full stop to all the controversy.
