Kerala: Teenager was aware he had sex with a dead body, say officials

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 26: In a shocking incident, a 17-year-old boy was charged with murder of a nine-year-old boy and later allegedly having sex with the corpse.

According to reports, the incident took place in Vizhinjam. Police officials say that the incident took place after the teenager saw a pornographic clip and wanted to re-enact the same act.

Reports suggest that the nine-year-old boy refused the teenager's sexual advances. This however did not go down well with the 11-year-old who beat up the latter and killed him.

The accused has confessed to his crime. Police officials say that the post mortem reports suggest that the boy was subjected to sodomy after death.

Police officials have also said that the accused was fully aware that the boy was dead before he has sex with the dead body. Police officials are now investigating whether the accused had committed similar crimes in the past.
