Chandigarh, Aug 18: Haryana government today (August 18) announced a reward of Rs 2.50 crore and a job to wrestler Sakshi Malik for winning a bronze medal in the Rio Olympics.
A financial reward of Rs 2.50 crore will be given to Sakshi for winning the bronze medal, an official spokesman said here. (Who is Sakshi?)
Besides, she will also be given a government job for her historic feat as provided in the sports policy of the state, he said. (Rs 60 lakh for Sakshi from Railways)

The 23-year-old from Rohtak became only the fourth woman athlete from India to win an Olympic medal as she earned the dramatic win after falling behind 0-5 in the do-or-die bout on day 12.
