New Delhi, July 28: Team India skipper Virat Kohli has emerged as an inspiration for young cricketers.

Virat Kohli's inspiring message to Pakistan umpire Aleem Dar's son

Recently, Pakistani umpire Aleem Dar's son, Hasan Dar, sent a video message to the star India batter to which Kohli replied with a motivational message.

Hasan is a budding cricketer in Pakistan and questioned the Indian swashbuckler on how to improve his cricketing skills. (Confident Virat Kohli & Co arrive in Kingston for second Test)

"Hello Hasan ji. I have received your video from your dad who is seated right next to me. Thank you so much. As you told it is true that hard work and dedication are very important aspects of life that leads to success. So when you continue working hard your cricketing skills will improve," Kohli said in his 29-minute video.

Here is the video:

Aleem Dar who is in West Indies, possibly, to umpire in the upcoming 2nd Test match between India and West Indies could also be seen in the video. (Guess what scares Viv Richards these days?)

Advising the young cricketer to believe in himself Kohli added, "Hopefully, we will catch up if you come on some tour when Aleem bhai is umpiring."

The India cricketer signed off the video by promising to send a signed bat to the youngster.

Only last week the aggressive Indian batsman slammed his maiden Test double hundred at Antigua against West Indies. He became the first Indian skipper to score a double ton on foreign soil.

Kohli is in the form of his lifetime and amassing runs in every format of the game. This quality from the Indian swashbuckler has made the greats like Sir Vivian Richards, his fan.
