Port of Spain, Aug 23: Team India's star batsman and test skipper Virat Kohli congratulated his coach Raj Kumar Sharma, who was selected for prestigious Dronacharya award, on Tuesday (Aug 23).
Kohli took to Twitter to wish his coach after Sharma's named was announced along with three others for the award.
"Congratulations Raj Kumar Sir. All the hard work behind the bigger picture never gets noticed. I am delighted for you on getting the Dronacharya Award," Kohli tweeted.

Kohli, during his childhood days trained under Sharma's watch and often credits his coach for his success.
The award will be given by President Pranab Mukherjee at a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan on August 29.
Apart from Sharma, Oympian gymnast Dipa Karmakar's coach Bisheshwar Nandi, athletics coach Nagapuri Ramesh and boxing coach Sagar Mal Dhayal have been selected for the coveted award.
The Dronacharya awards for lifetime will be awarded to veteran swimming coach S Pradeep Kumar and wrestling coach Mahabir Singh. The award comprises a cash prize of Rs.5 lakh each with a medal and a citation.
