Celebratory gunfire shots in Ravindra Jadeja's marriage invite trouble

New Delhi, April 17: Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja's marriage invited trouble after celebratory gunshots were fired during the marriage procession on Sunday (April 17).

According to an IBN7 report, "The incident was followed by police arriving at the site to launch an inquiry."

Ravindra Jadeja's marriage runs into controversy.

"We got the message from our control room. We are checking the footage. Even if shots are fired from a licensed weapon, it can be done only in self-defence.

The offence, if proved, can lead to a jail sentence of 3 years," PSI of the Lodhika Police Station was quoted as saying in the IBN 7 report.

Jadeja-Reeva's sangeet ceremony was held on Saturday in Rajkot (Gujarat) where Jadeja was seen showcasing his 'sword skills'. Even Ravindra Jadeja's Haldi ceremony took place on the day.

Ravindra Jadeja got engaged to mechanical engineer Reeva Solanki on February 5.
