'My name is Mohammad Kaif but I'm not that Sharp Shooter'

New Delhi, Sep 20: Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif took to Twitter to clear the doubts of some fans after he was misunderstood with a wanted criminal in Bihar.

The incident occured when several people on social media confused the cricketer with a wanted sharp shooter (of the same name) from Bihar, who had links with former RJD parliamentarian from Siwan and don Mohammad Shahbuddin.

Shahbuddin was released after remaining 11 years in jail which brought massive embarrassment to the Nitish Kumar government after pictures of Kaif (sharp shooter) with State Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav went viral on social media.

Some people dragged cricketer Mohammad Kaif into the controversy following which the former Uttar Pradesh captain came up with a clarification over Twitter.

Kaif wrote on his Twitter handle that he and his family was receiving calls after the goof-up on social media.
